Happy Holidays

It's the most wonderful time of year! The teacher's lounge is filled with goodies, the hallways are buzzing with the sound of jingle bells attached to backpacks, holiday displays keep popping up on bulletin boards, and students rush in excited to tell us where their elf landed after a long night of reporting to Santa. This time of year truly is magical. Take a look at some of the ways we got ourselves into the holiday spirit!

Meeting our RMC Pen-Pals!

Our exciting writing adventure has sadly come to a close. My students were sad to be ending their writing journey with their Randolph-Macon buddies, but they were not sad to find out we were have not one, but TWO celebrations so we could meet everyone!!

Our first celebration was on Monday. 5 out of the 10 RMC students came and enjoyed a pizza lunch. The other 5 RMC students came for a donut breakfast on Friday morning. It was definitely a well deserved treat!

Your child's journal will be coming home soon, so be on the lookout! It's fun to see how much their writing has already improved since September.

Dr. Roberson was my professor when I was at Randolph-Macon.
It was so much fun to collaborate with her and Mrs. Talley,
one our Reading Specialists at Henry Clay.

Brennan and Sasha's buddy made a surprise appearance Friday,
since Brennan was absent on Monday and missed her 1st visit.

GO JACKETS!!
We love writing!!
